I took a quick trip to New York this weekend to cheer on my friend Sarah in her longest race to date...the ING New York City Marathon! Our cheering section (compromised of parents, girlfriends, and one adoring boyfriend) had so much fun trekking all over Brooklyn and Manhattan to follow our favorite runner. The weather was stunning; the crowds inspiring. Marathon Sunday is just so magical!
And, of course, it was the biggest treat to be back in the city. Here's a photo round-up from the mobile route:

Oh my heavens!!! I made the blog...how special! It was such a treat to have you along the course to cheer me on AND to spend a day in the Big Apple with you. I just wish we could do this more often. Thanks for reminding me the importance of friendship...you are a treasure! Love you!
