i didnt have plans to wake up at 2am to watch the royal wedding.but my body clearly had other ideas.
bleary eyed and half sick, i caught up with will and kate as they were leaving westminster abby for their carriage ride to buckingham palace.
what a gorgeous procession.
i think the reason i like kate so much is because it seems as though you could really be friends with her.
she is so much more than a commoner that the prince chose for his bride.
she seems to exude this quiet grace and confidence that few are born with.
but besides the obvious, there is one reason above the rest why i like kate so.
her sister pippa.
and though kate will soon have ties to another royal world, she is still very much attachted to her own.
i love that last look over her shoulder at her sister.
its as though she knows all the precious moments they have shared have led them up to this one.
and it reminds me of my sis.
and the precious memories we still have to make together.

Hi Court, that was Em's and our favorite photo as well. There is something so wonderful about very planned events but the best part are the non spoken looks, eye contact, hugs and feelings conveyed that are never scripted. love,mom xo
