Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
In hindsight, I should have saved this book for a beach read in July or August. I would have looked forward to it. This was the final book of The Hunger Games series and I feel sad it's all over. On the other hand, I would not have had the self-control to wait until mid-summer to read this. I was so anxious to find out what would happen to Gale and Prim and Peeta and Katniss. The ending surprised me, but I didn't cry.
I'd recommend this series in a heartbeat.

I just flew through Hunger Games and Catching Fire, and am about to start Mockingjay! Love it. And you, my friend!
