Quote for a New Season.

I promise you that if you walk west on Perry Street in the Village at 4:00 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon while you listen to Coldplay sing about fixing you, that you will feel your heart. You will feel it in a way you can’t remember feeling it since before he came into your life and ruined it. You will remember what it’s like to feel un-tainted, un-robbed, un-broken. And in your mind, you will tell Coldplay’s Chris Martin that you don’t need fixing anymore, because Jesus has healed your broken, weary heart. And as you walk under the barely-blooming trees that welcome you into spring, you will realize that you are finally stepping out of the chains that held you to your past, into the life you live now—fully into it.
