happy birthday little brother!

as big sister did for me, i would like to list 21 reasons why i love the brother who is exactly two years and one month younger than me...

1. he loves the office and reminds me of jim all the time.
2. one time on a train, he and i slept together in a hammock. for an entire night. and he didn't complain.
3. he has a calming presence in our family.
4. when he visited south africa, he loved it so much he vowed to return. 2010 baby!5. the way he is with little kids, he will make a great dad some day.
6. he has always had a gentle spirit. he treats animals and people alike, with kindness.
7. there probably isn't something he wont try; razor, go-cart, motor bikes... skydiving?8. when we start asking him questions, he gets a little baby smile on his face.
9. he makes sacrifices to be with the family as much as he can.
10. he loves desmond almost as much as big sister. maybe even a little bit more.
11. he is in the NAVY!12. when he finds something funny, he really laughs. i'm talking rocking back and forth.
13. after dad's accident, he bought mom roses on valentines day.
14. he is very comfortable in his own skin.15. when he got his wisdom teeth out, he didnt say anything when we all teased him.
16. there is nothing he would like more than laying out on a sunny beach.
17. he came out for my spring banquet last year and went with me. uniform and all.18. he talks on the phone late at night even though he is tired and has TONS of work to do.
19. he enjoys wearing nice clothes and looking good in them.
20. all the ladies love him and i have to beat them off with sticks.

and lastly...
21. because he is seeking truth and striving for more than mediocrity.
