Is it autumn where you are?
It's autumn in Maryland.
Windy days.
Leaves that crunch.
Blue skies and sunshine.
And chilly evenings.
We had a glorious weekend.
The Baby went to his first Homecoming dance.
I think he was ever-so-slightly nervous.
But mostly excited.
He came home a little before 11pm. He said he had fun.
He said there wasn't a lot of food at Homecoming.
He wondered what the $10 entrance fee covered.
He said a girl came up to him and asked him if he would dance with her sister.
He said he told the girl no [because he didn't know how to dance].
I have faith in him. After all, he's only a freshman.
He's got a few more years to work on his moves.
