for my sister

if you are ever fortunate enough to have a sister, i hope you have one as thoughtful as mine.
i've mentioned before how hard it is to have a long distance relationship.
especially navigating time zones, work schedules and extreme exhaustion.

but somehow she manages.
emails in inboxes, hand written letters in the mailbox, little gifts left behind.

she:
is intentional
and sincere
and remembers the little details
and is protective and passionate
and makes me laugh like a crazy
until we look crazy
and has known me the longest of anyone
and still kinda likes me

happy valentines day to my sister.
until some lucky guy realizes whats good for him, we shall celebrate together.
and lets just hope that lucky guy has a brother...
