Long Journey Home reminded me a lot of C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity. It's an in-depth look at how Christianity differs from other religions and philosophies. It draws heavily on Guinness's own interactions with Eastern religions, and includes fantastic quotes from all kinds of Christians (Pascal, Augustine, Bonhoeffer, etc.) throughout the centuries. It's a book for a seeker and a believer. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
(Feel like a couple of you readers might be expecting me to say something about more about Os...but that's all I got!)
