rolling in from oceanside

i've known becca since i transferred to school in california, middle of my freshman year.
unsure and new, we were two souls thrown together and by fate have remained friends.

since, we have:
successfully completed a 1/2 marathon
welcomed 25 with hesitancy and excitement
found her love of all things brewed
and mine of all grapes aged
dabbled in jobs less than our liking
traveled to exotic places
and dreamed of future stability.

while she was here for less than 24 hours, we simply spent the time updating each other on our lives. and laughed at how different we are now from the 19 year olds who first met.

both wes anderson fans, we ended the night with the darjeeling limited. the plot is quirky. the characters, wonderfully detailed. the scenery, bucket list worthy.

i leave you with a quote from the character brendan about the train he is traveling on, being lost.
we havent located us yet.

and in a season where neither becca or i knowing what adventure could possibly be next,
its fine to be a little lost every now and then.
