Today is also American Business Women's Day (who knew?), as well as Family Day (described in the calendar as "A Day to Eat Dinner With Your Children;" just one day please, not two). And, on this day in 1862, the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, sealed, and delivered. Oh, and lastly, it's the birthday of the Ice Cream Cone today (1903)! So many wonderful, random facts- bringing themselves to my attention via the workplace calendar.
On Mondays, the simplest things bring delight. Like this quote from my Starbucks cup, The Way I See It #26:
