these people are boisterous, outrageously funny and quite simply the best. i met them when i decided i need more community in my life. that being noted, i made my way over to rockharbor to sign up for a tuesday night life group.
and we started out small. a handful of attendees here and there. finally we got the kick in the boot and began sharing testimonies.
you had me at baptism at age 12.
these people have become such a part of my california experience and deeply apart of my heart. at the basis of any good friendship is the belief that a person can be trusted. and i truly trust these people. i trusted them with my story. i trust them to pray as i leave for the summer. and i trusted them not to whack at my knees when we played broomball.
tomorrow is our last time together before i leave thursday. and i said we must end it watching robin hood, eating good food and being together.
after all, what is a community for anyways?
