Let's hypothesise.
What would it be like to live in New York City and work 14 different part-time jobs?
It may mean you teach preschool.
It could mean you work at J. Crew.
It might be that you babysit a few dozen times a month.
And, it could also mean that you spend your weekends with these fine people:
You might find yourself bowing, as is the custom in Japanese culture.
You could be interacting with all kinds of people and personalities.
You would probably be saying things like Are you familiar with the company? multiple times a day to multiple prospective buyers.
And, at the end of the day, you'd be saying something like 私の足が非常に疲れている。
(Translation: My feet are killing me.)
Most likely you'd be glad to see Sunday evening, and wave goodbye to the new friends, and bow, and bow again, and (third's the charm) bow yet again. Then smile, hop on the crosstown bus, and shake the dust of Javits from your heels.
But, hey, we're just hypothesising.
