rest

i came off the mountain this morning to the praise of hillsong and the views of early sunlight touching the shadowed valleys.
to say the least, i knew rest this weekend.

to say the most, i felt consolation from God and experienced the truth of his presence in my life.

here are a few that especially touched my heart:
biden or not biden, God is present.
my sins have been covered in the perfect blood of christ shed on the cross.
created from love, out of love and for love.as i journal-ed, sat in silence, listened to music and hiked this weekend, i felt God opening me up to himself as i have not experienced before.
i long to know of God, not just simply know about him.
i want to taste and see that God is good. psalm 34:8

i left with this scripture on my heart.

now choose life so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to His voice and hold fast to Him. For the Lord is your life and he will give you many years in the land.
deuteronomy 30:19-20
