more thankfulness? but of course!

tonight i am most thankful for siblings.

brothers in the navy.
brothers at home.
and sister in new york.

as i anticipate going home tomorrow, i am indeed excited for the cool weather, but mostly the people that the east coast keeps.
i am thankful for hugs, talks by the fire, rides home from the airport, funny videos on youtube, stories from different jobs, frantic cooking in the kitchen, rewinding home videos and turkey trots.

who else can you count on to remember that you use to say traditions, transditions?
or know when dad passes around the 5 kernels of corn, what you will be thankful for?
or make eyes at you throughout the evening when you are with crazy extended family?

i've spent my life with these five friends.
and the holidays just seem to remind us that no matter how far we must travel, when we arrive, we are home.
