and strangely enough, it doesnt feel much different from previous summer breaks.
there are still massive thunderstorms, a little bit of boredom, the occasional babysitting job and that unsettling of wondering what the next year will hold.

but quite a few things have changed. i am officially a college graduate.
and while i do not yet have my actual diploma, i do have several weeks of un-employment and lazy days to look forward to.
ahhhhhhh. the sights and sounds of summer.
rewind a few weeks ago to graduation.
the parents, big sister and two of the brothers came out to celebrate with me.
and what would i have done without them?

together they packed up my dorm room, saved seats at graduation, took hundreds of photos, were friendly to people they would never meet again and traipsed all over the state for one last sight seeing adventure.
and what would we have done without these two? i was so thankful to have them there to be apart of everything.

in a month and a half, a plane ride will find me back out in california living with 7 other girls in a lovely little house off campus.
once there, i will discover life as a post grad. i will work from 9-5, grin and bear the responsibilities of living on my own and figure out what stocks really are.

well. maybe we can wait on that last one.
but for the next few weeks, i am going to enjoy the maryland summer as it was meant to be enjoyed.
and maybe in between all that adventure, catch up on the tv i missed this past year.
oh. the places we go.
