i spent the afternoon with my cousins in the country. we had a most wonderful time exploring haunted houses, drinking soda from old glass jars and sharing stories about our grandmother.
i forgot how much i like being with them.

i made pea soup with cucumber sandwiches tonight for mother and i.



it turned out quite well, i think.
