i dont know if you remember me or not.
im one half of the redheaded sister duo that occupies this space from time to time.
its been a bit since ive shared but with thanksgiving literally rounding the corner, i couldnt keep my thoughts to myself.
the sister and i have a college friend whose laughter is quite raucous and tenderness quite evident.
during the angst of our academic years, she continually encouraged me with a saying..."i am so thankful'.
i remember thinking, thats so simple. why dont i say that more?
i am so thankful:
for military brothers and cousins making the trek home
for military personnel trekking across the middle east
i am so thankful:
for deep friendships within driving distance
for lasting friendships that span a plane ride
i am so thankful:
for a home to celebrate the bounty of our blessings
for the pilgrims who had nothing but counted their blessings
i am so thankful:
for another year to experience the Lord
for the past year of undeserved grace and kindness
